Anyone tried Beansprog yet?

I've just come across this site Beansprog for selling all things to do with babies, children and maternity. I thought I may get the last of the toys out of the loft and get rid!
It's free to list items with a photo - looks a very efficient site - takes 10% in commission on sales - anyone tried it and had any success? I thought some items looked quite expensive - couldn't see them selling compared to ebay or even charity shops! But no Paypal probs as site pays straight to your bank account - bit like Amazon, I suppose.
What do you all think?

Hiya

I managed to sell a teething rattle 2 weeks ago. Its a pretty streamlined system. I sent off the item the morning after it sold and money went into my account very quickly (4 days or so?). I have listed a load more stuff but sold nothing more as yet...only listed it tonight though. LOL!
I like the fact you can leave your items on there indefinately and forget about them till they sell, at which point you get a text. I use royal mail online and then just drop it in a post box next day. Its a small risk in terms of not having POP but I sell such low value stuff i'm happy to take a hit occasionally in exchange for the convenience the online PO gives me.
OOh wrote an essay, sorry!
Hope this helps people get going on it though.
(tell ALL your friends aobut it, I need to get rid of some of this baby stuff! LOL!)

Hi
I've tried it - and loved it. Now a total convert. Sold some maternity stuff which was dead easy and some DVDs i was given for my son but weren't our "thing" so still in packaging. So easy - and great value.
basically - you've got nothing to lose - apart from your clobber!!!

Hi All
I have bought a few things on beansprog including a car seat which i collected so did not have to pay postage which was good. I liked the site and will deffo keep popping back to see what else may take my fancy. Should really shift a gear and sell some of my old things (New years resolution- oh dear its nearly April)0 -

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0 -
Oo, going to have a look, thank you!0

Ive got quite a few childrens clothes to sell. Anybody listed their items on beansprog and sold them, how long did it take ?0

I have had bits listed for months. They are selling slowly but it causes me no inconvenience to have them there and they don't charge you until it sells so thats cool.Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!
