Easyjet & useless responses

Fair enough. I was just trying to give another perspective. By your own admission you've already emailed them at least twice, now you're going to spend more time on a letter, envelope, stamp, posting. Probably more frustration and annoyance I think because you haven't got the receipts.
I'm all for moneysaving, but money isn't everything.
Good luck.
I'm someone who knows better than most that money isn't everything (my dad was a workaholic, who was told to chose between his job and his life...! - obviously he chose life!).
I guess this is more out of principal, as I don't see the point of having laws and legislations if company's don't bother adhering to them. There was no drinking tap water available, and I honestly can't remember the last time I felt so dehydrated and hungry.
Emailing takes 60 seconds, as I touch type  and I think a letter is worth it, if it means someone higher up takes note that some of their staff have no problem treating customers like sh*t. Or perhaps the entire Easyjet empire has no problem treating all their customer's like sh*t... in which case, I won't get anywhere, but at least I tried.
So, to stop waffling, in conclusion, money certainly isn't everything, but I'm not a quitter, and will only give up once I consider I've done my best!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Do you mind my asking which airport it was? I ask because I always take an empty bottle through security (it's allowed as long as you declare it when you show your bag of liquids) and fill it up in the toilets to drink rather than buying a new one each time, and obviously I want to know if there's any chance I'll be thwarted somewhere...
I'm glad to hear it! The more people like us the more likely it is that companies will start acting properly so as to avoid the hassle of having to deal with us afterwardsSo, to stop waffling, in conclusion, money certainly isn't everything, but I'm not a quitter

It was Grenoble airport. The tap water in the toilets was somewhat merky, so I didn't drink it!
I've now written a letter off to headquarters, along with a copy of the useless responseI got from their online system, so shall see how they respond.
I actually don't mind being delayed (I've had 3 flight delays of over 8 hours in the last 12 months!!), but I have never known passengers to be treated so badly. Some people even paid for taxis so they could go to the nearest restaurant and get proper hot food!
If I were running Easyjet, I would have put in a huge order for takeaway pizzas for everyone!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Could that just have been the same kind of chalky stuff you get in water across much of southern England? The water in that part of France presumably comes from the mountains and may well be mineral-heavy... I understand your concerns though. I've always found French tap water to be the best in Europe (ever since I went to the town of Volvic and found out that the famous spring powers both the bottling factory and all nearby towns... But I digress), and would probably have been aghast in that situation. Luckily Grenoble is mostly for skiiers so I'm unlikely ever to go there.0
