    suzi it says medium on the site not large *shrugs*

    anyone reccomend the nicest wine... i dont drink it but my mum loves red ..

    that has changed, it did say large Oakham chicken on the site about 7am this morning - mediums at Bristol Harbourside verging on small - £5.99 was biggest just after opening
  • Only the small chickens in Halifax :( around the £5 - £5.15 mark & no parmentier potatoes either!
    Still didn't deter me from a fab offer so I got;

    2 lemon souffles £3.29
    traditional roast veg £2.99
    medium chicken £5.15 (I got the largest one I could!)
    cobarah chardonnay £4.99
    total £16.42 cost £10 after discount

    saving me £6.42 & the souffles come in ramekin dishes which I've wanted for a while now so saved me buying these too! :)

    Really annoyed about this. Got there at 9:30 and the only chickens on the shelf were small ones - the most expensive was only £4.59!! Picked up a large from the other shelf and mentioned it was on the website so should go through. She went away to check and said that no, the small was on the website, that sometimes they changed things on there, and I should complain via there (she was pleasant about it and sympathetic). No way was I getting the small.

    Now I get back and find I could have gotten a medium, and they didn't tell me. I know it said Large on the site this morning. Grrrrr!!!!!

    I spotted exaxtly the same thing on their website around 10am this morning only to find small ones in store too :(
    I still think it's a great bargain, but unfair to give out large/medium ones in some stores & small sized chickens in others.

    Hope other people managed to get a nice sized chicken!
    Did anyone beat the £8ish one posted earlier by Dee140157? Lucky thing :beer:

    I always take a print out of the menu from their website into the store with me - would've been useful to you on this occasion.
    I got 3 meal deals and saved £16
