Car vandalised (sort of)...what to do

Hi guys
this probably isn't the right place to post, but wasn't really sure where to go, so apologies.
Anyway, we've just got back to the house after being out for a few hours and some disgusting so and so though my car would make nice target practice for their spitting game. My whole car is covered in spit! I find this so horribly disgusting I can't say, I hate spitting. Is there any point calling the police or should I just clean it off and put up with it? I'm so angry, I hate bad habits like that, gross.

i would acutally call the police for this, theres a good chance that the scumbag is on some data base they could match up

call the non emergency number of course


if they are not going to do anything about it i would clean it off tomorrow incase they come back past later tonight, a quickly cleaned car will seem like a game

I did think of the police, but I would imagine they would see it as a waste of their time (ehich it probably is), I'm just so mad!!

when someone kicked my mirror off i didnt want to call them as i thought it was a waste of time, i did though after being nagged at, the reason i was told to is they might of caught someone doing it 2 mins up the road and needed more evidence to do em with

Take pictures of the mess of your car, if and it would be a very small if, they found the person/persons that had done it and prosecute then you have your evidence.

Im sorry, but what kind of advice is that?

Some people, maybe the OP too, spend hours washing and polishing their car. They take pride in their car etc.

Ofcourse it matters, its disgusting and whoever does that type of thing should feel the full force of a blunt object hitting them repeatedly. :mad:

Report it to the police and ask them to take a sample of the spit. They might find a match with the DNA database?

I couldnt believe what had happened reading this thread. Horrible.

I understand why you are mad, I would be, I spend lots of time getting my car how I want it to look and for some ***** to come along an do that, Grrrrrr.

Bird poo kills the paintwork on a car and I would think spit would do the same.

Take pics, call the police and give it a wash ASAP.
