Which wiresless USB adapter?

I'm signing my girlfriend up to O2 broadband which comes with a wireless. The only PC in her house is her laptop which isn't wireless enabled, can anyone suggest a good USB adapter?

That seems to be getting great reviews and at 9.99 its a steal.

    Why a USB adapter?

Does her laptop have a PCMCIA slot?

If so, something like this should do the trick.
  • Marty: i took a guess since the type needed was not specified in the post, i figured USB wireless adaptors are in general cheaper than pcmcia.

pcmcia is probably better (assuming she doesn't already use the slot for something) as it keeps a usb port free and less chance of accidentally knocking it off etc.

She doesn't have a pcmcia slot so its got to be usb I'm afraid.

I would recommend one of these then http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130583 - just incase at some point she knocks the adapter so it and the laptop usb port don't get damaged (surprising how easy it is to do) at least with a small extension you have some slack - though 2m is probably too long - you sometimes get shorter ones with usb memory sticks maybe you have some lying around
