Lighting glass bricks

I've replaced a very 1960's glass partition by installing glass bricks. I now have 3 columns of glass bricks which are each 2 bricks wide and run from floor to about 2 ft from the ceiling. The spacing between each colum is also about 2 bricks wide. The bricks are clear coloured with flemish design in the glass.
They are in a wall that separates my lounge and hallway in my flat and I'm interested in using some kind of lighting to make them a bit more of a feature.
They are flush on the hall side, but they are set back slightly on the lounge side so I could install some kind of pelmet to hide the lighting at the top or bottom.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers
