Carrickfergus ..... i wish i was thereTHESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS ……
..…JUST WAIT AND SEE0 -
They are also doing a 5 megapixel version for around £30 ish. This is also a bargain and comes with the added bonus of a rechargeable battery and mains charger, so no worrying about batteries all the time.0

This is the 5 meg version

Personally prefer to use cameras with "standard size" barreries, so you can replace them easily either out when taking pics or when the rechargeable battery finally goes pop........ which they do!Waddle you do eh?0 -
I bought my DD the 5mp version in the pre-Christmas sale - I thought she may be a bit snobbish about it, but she was very impressed with the quality of the photos and takes it with her everywhere. This week I bought her the matching case from Tesco (suitable for either camera) which was on the same shelf as the cameras, reduced to just £1.98 I think. It had a carry strap, belt clip and something else inside. DD was impressed with that as well (incredibly).0

Not only in Carrickfergus, but are probably part of the 20% discount week. They do not come with a sim card btw - I got a 128mb SD one for £7.97 there too.0

I have read that the 5MP has sound on movie mode, can anybody confirm with the 3MP? Only audible on playback through PC etc I believe.
I need a couple of cheapies for the classroom and these might fit the bill.
Anybody got any sample pics that they could link to or post?0 -

Try this site: bytephoto.com, where the user "marcspictu" has posted some views of Oban taken with Premier DS-5080s and DS-3081s cameras. The camera name is only listed as "CAMERA", as Premier models don't seem to listed on the site :rolleyes:0 -
Hi,
for those interested in the specifications,
here is the official page for the 3.0 Megapixel (£19.99) model:
http://www.premierimage.com.tw/premiere/003/003_DS3081S.htm
(it has the movie option, but no mention of a microphone at all :-( )0 -
Can anyone confirm if the above 3MP camera model is on offer for 19.99 pounds also in other branches of Tesco in south-est England?0
