Official Rules

1.No purchase necessary. A purchase will not affect or improve the chances of winning. Prize Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2.The Prize Draw sponsor is L’Occitane Ltd (the “Sponsor”),15-19 Cavendish Place United Kingdom London W1G 0QE.
3.The Prize Draw is open to UK residents ONLY. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Prize Draw is not open to employees, independent contractors, officers, directors, agents or representatives of the Sponsor and of the Sponsor’s parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and/or assigns, Sponsor’s advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, legal advisors, (collectively, “Prize Draw Entities” ), and the immediate family members (mother, father, brother, sister, daughter, son or spouse, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household (whether or not related) of any of the foregoing.
4. To enter simply log in and enter a customer testimonial. The Prize Draw is online only. Only one entry per person. Use of multiple email addresses to enter is prohibited. For online entries, in the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the identified email account was registered.
5.The Prize Draw entries start on 26th February 2009 and end on 25th March 2009. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, stolen, misdirected, delayed or destroyed entries. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry.
6. There will be ten (10) winners who will each be awarded with the following prize: Shea Butter Hand Cream 75ml and Shea Butter Foot Cream 75ml (worth £24). Prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion and must be accepted as awarded. Prize may not be exchanged for cash value or substituted and will be delivered to confirmed winners.
7.The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about 25th March 2009, and will be notified by phone or e-mail. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8.All entries become the property of the Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating, each entrant agrees to comply with these official rules and that the Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Prize Draw or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the Prize Draw. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of, the web site or any technical failure or malfunction, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property.

In no event will the Sponsor or any Prize Draw Entities be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising our of your participation in the Prize Draw, any prizes won, your access to or use of any of the Sponsor’s websites, or the accessing, downloading and/or printing of any material available on said sites. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the Sponsor’s wesites is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warrantlies of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infrigement.
9.By accepting a Prize Draw’ prize, each winner, where permitted by law, grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing at the Sponsor’s request) to the Sponsor the right to use and publish his/her name, address, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and comments for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without notification, review or approval, and without additional consideration, worldwide and on the Internet, in perpetuity. The selected entrant may be required to complete, sign, have notarized and return an affidavit of eligibility and/or a liability/publicity release, which must be returned within seven (7) days from the date of notification. Failure to sign and return such documents within the time specified, or if the selected entrant cannot be contacted and confirm acceptance of the prize before 25th March 2009, or if prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if selected entrant is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these official rules, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in the Sponsor’s sole discretion in accordance with these official rules.

By accepting a Prize, each winner, releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and all Prize Draw entities from any and all liability for any injury, loss or damage of any kinf to persons, including death, and property, arising from or in connection with acceptance, possession, use or misuse or any prize, participation in this Prize Draw or any Prize Draw-related activity.
10.If, for any reason, the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned because of circumstances including, but not limited to, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, which, in the Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Prize Draw, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and determination of fairness, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw and to select the winners from entries received prior to such action, in accordance with these official rules. The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, operation of the Prize Draw, or violates these official rules.
11.By registering to enter the Prize Draw, each entrant acknowledges he/she has read, understands and will abide by these official rules.

13. The personal information collected from each entrant in the course of the Prize Draw will be used by the Sponsor for the purposes of administration of the Prize Draw and as otherwise permitted in accordance with the Sponsor’s Data Protection Policy.
