Should i just give up a try later

Right basically i have been going through the process of buying a house for the last 2 months,i had previously gone through the process of buying another house but fell down at the survey stage due to the house having supsidance issues. with the current house i am trying to buy all was going well until survey yet again, it says that there were some cracks which may have been there since the house was built but may be recent, so he recommends a sturctural survey which the seller will not pay for and i am definately not going to pay for it. Do you think i should just give up for now and try again in a year or so, i dont need to move out of my parents house and i have spent over £3000 on surveys solicitors with nothing to show for it. I must be the most unlucky person when it comes to houses, or i am cursed.

Thank you

Stealthben

Third time lucky? Go for a different type of house or in a different area and hopefully things will turn out better.
