Family Hols To Croatia In Aug 06 Help Needed!!

Please can you help

I would love to take my family on holiday to Croatia for 2 weeks in August around the 11 ish. 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7. I would like to be by the sea as the children loves the seaside. Not too bother whereabouts in Croatia as long as it fits within my limited budget £1000-£1500 (Max).

I went to Croatia last summer, stayed in Bol (with the pointy beach) on Brac island (off Split) all inclusive in Hotel Riu Bonaca. It was approx £1500 for the week for 2+ 2 and it was fantastic! Hardly any Brits around, mainly Germans. Staff were superb, food was unbelievably good, loads to do if you fancy trying scuba diving, windsurfing, mountain biking etc.
going back to Croatia this year to stay with a local family in Istria (we 'met' online after I started trying to learn the language). Wizzair flights from Luton to Zagreb £248 for the four of us. 5 months 4 days to go. Can't wait!!

I am a new convert to the beauties of Croatia. My last two hols have been in Rovinj and I loved it there. We stayed at the Park Hotel and if that's a 3 star, I'll eat my hat! I found, in my walks, B&B for under £10 a night and we looked at some of these and they were very good.
I think your choice of holiday destination is first rate.
