There's a chemist nearby that does a roaring trade looking after items people can't take into the US embassy. I think they charge £10.0 -
It says on the website ..... Applicants are required to queue outside even in inclement weather. Please, therefore, do not arrive at the Embassy more than 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time.
It seems to me that there's no point in being more than a bit early - 30 min. to be exact.
So, you are saying if our appointment is at 2pm they might not see us til 3 or 4 pm? Sounds like the doctors then.
We were told that since he's under 14 we didn't need to bring him.
They take fingerprints in your local Tescos?
I'd say half an hour would be fine, my appointment was at 11am and i arrived about ten to thinking i would be seen but I didnt see the immigration officer until half one - any mine was a very straightforward, done in 5 mins appt!
I dont know how far you are from london but Im not too far and for the 5 min appointment I left just after 9 and got home just before 3.
re tescos: I live in a very rough area!! LOL
Also just to note, my appointment was in the snow days and it was very busy as the embassy had been closed for a day two days beforehand, there were more people than seats and its not a small place.
I understand ALOT more than I care to let on
