    goats milk?
i am not keen though my 3 little dogs lap it up

YUK - secreations from a goat!!
has he tried his tea black - i dont do milk and hated tea and coffee untill i tasted them black......... black, weak tea is the nicest thing (earl gray has a particullary nice flavour and is a bit posher) but normal black tea has so much more tea flavour than milked tea.

  • I've been taking Soya So Good, fresh from the chiller in tea and coffee for the last 3 years. My DH also takes it and it's the only brand that we've found that doesn't curdle in coffee :) Yes, it's an acquired taste, but it's okay when you get used to it.

Earl Grey and Lady Grey are flavoured with Bergamot and Lady Grey's got citrus flavours too, so it's a cross between a fruit tea and Builders ;)

    I use this for DS3 http://www.vancesfoods.com/darifree.htm
Its potato based but even though it sounds weird tastes lovely and creamy:D
Costs a bomb though as I have to buy it online from healthfood type places...

    Heres the ingredient list

Original - Maltodextrin (from potatoes), Potato Starch, Natural Flavors (no MSG), Crystalline Fructose, Calcium Carbonate, colored with Titanium Dioxide (an inert mineral), Carrageenan, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, Tricalcium Phosphate, Potassium Citrate, Lactic Acid, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Vitamin A Palmitate, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin D3, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin K1, Thiamin mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), Biotin

Its about £14 a tin at the moment so a bit pricey if its only for him to try I'm afraid
  • I like my tea and am quite happy to drink soya in it, to be honest i cant taste the difference. It has to be alpro or sainsburys/tesco own brand. I have tried some others and they are vile:eek:

  • Thanks everyone for all your suggestions! I used to have a lodger who had soya milk and i used it maybe twice in a no-milk tea emergency! but found it had a bit of a funky taste! perhaps as suggested he just needs to 'get used' to the slightly different taste....just don't know if he will cuz he's been using those little pots of non-dairy creamer for months and still moans about them!!!

mothsinmywallet, oat milk!? i have never even heard of it lol! But if soya milks vary that much in taste perhaps we can get the smallest size of diff brands and try them til we find one that satisfies his fussy palate!!

To all who have suggested drinking it black - he will drink it black if there is no alternative, but I have to agree with him when he says nothing quite beats a nice strong, milky cup of tea to dunk your biccies in to!!!

There is a vending machine type thing that does an ok-ish (not great!) cuppa but it costs 30p a go....he does use it but i tell him off for wasting money - 3 cups a day 5 days a week is £4.50 eek!!
