Lloyds TSB Credit Card & Loans - overseas now

Options
HI,

I am new to all of this.... so please bear with me!

I am wondering if I can claim back PPI on my Lloyds TSB Credit Card/Loans that I have had with Lloyds? I had a graduate loan back in 2004, and also took out a credit card at the same time. The loan has been paid off, and the credit card had a good 2k on it each month.

I have searched the threads, and can't get my head around which letter I need to send to them.

Also, I have moved overseas in the last year, so my postal address won't be in the UK. Do you think this should affect my claim (as I am obviously not going to fly back to the UK to take them to court!).

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

    Hi there

there is no harm in trying, as I am not sure if it makes any difference in regards of where you live.

Check this link out here for further PPI info and you will also come across a letter reclaim template as well.
This link occurs for both loan ppi and credit card ppi.

See if there are any other reasons as well to add to your complaint letter, try to use your own words if you can.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, another letter maybe required if not successful the first time, or until you receive the final response, where they give you details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) of their complaints procedures

Post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting and to keep a check on the 8 weeks they have.

Good luck and if you require any further help, please just let us know.;)
