Alternatives to SMEG CC62MFX5/SUK62MFX5 Dual fuel cooker

Hello all,
our old oven that was here when we bought the house died at the weekend, either thermostat or element, but I am thinking the call out charge plus part/s will be at least £100, so as we want a new cooker, thought it made more sense to order a new one.
I found the CC62MFX5 on Laskys, and latterly Kitchen Science and Comet - Comet are showing as out of stock.
I now believe all three companies are under the same umbrella however.
I rang SMEG, and they confirmed that the models are identical, just different model numbers for exclusivity to the retailer.
So we ordered last night from Laskys, £669.99, £7 off from whitebox deals, and then £9.74 delivery for Saturday, which was perfect as we both work.
Had a call today to say they are actually out of stock (The website still says otherwise) and have no idea when they will have more stock.
Rang Kitchen Science just in case, same answer.
I have mailed SMEG, Comet, Laskys, and Kitchen science to see if they can shed any light on it, as we really want this cooker, but won't be paying over a hundred pounds more to get the SUK version from other stores, and instead we would go for an even cheaper one.
We had a look last night in Curry's and Comet, and the only ones that felt fairly solid were Zanussi and Hotpoint dual fuel free standing cookers.
Does anyone have any other recommendations for us?
We're just after a twin over, 60cm electric fan over/gas hob free standing cooker, budget up to £700, we only went that high as we knew of SMEG's reputation, but anything from around £400 upto £700.
Many thanks
Dan

just had delivered a new AEG D77000,waiting to be fitted, looked at all the other dual fuel models out there.
last cooker was a stoves and would not reccomend them.one before that was a cannon and was not very happy with that either.
the AEG build is very good from first impressions (just unpacked it)
electrolux is part of AEG and do a very similar model , it just has less functions than the AEG.

did you read many of the smeg reviews? the ones i looked at were not very favourable!:hello: :j0 -
Hello FG, and thanks for your reply :-)
I will investigate that AEG model you recommend, my gf's dad had recommended Elecctrolux, and also Zanussi.
I read some Smeg reviews, and the ones I could fine for the CC model were glowing, granted I could only find a few reviews, but what I could find were good.
Clearly you found something different then!
EDIT: Managed to find the Electrolux for £615 delivered from BE direct.
