Financial Hardship????? Please Help!

Hi all, would like a little advice if possible.
I started my claim in June 2007 and have had the case on hold since then. I wrote to my bank Lloyds TSB over 12 months ago stating due to my no longer working we were struggling to make ends meet. I received a letter stating the hold was still applicable. I was then contacted by phone to discuss out £200 overdraft and how it could be paid back, it was decided that if we could pay back the overdraft within 12 months that they would waive 2 months worth of charges that were due to be added to our account (totalling over £500) which to us obviously was a godsend. We maintained this agreement and we are now without the overdraft but are still struggling to make payments.
We are in debt with our electric to the tune of £1000 and are paying this back via our prepayment meter, we are also behind with council tax and water bills. All have payment rates agreed but are stretching our limited funds.
What I am really asking is if you think it is worth submitting another claim under financial hardship and if you feel we would be successful?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.
I'm in the process of trying to get money out of Abbey, and I've been at it about as long as you have. I also am trying the financial hardship route due to job loss etc.
I would try again as your situation has worsened.
On another note, are you getting any government help with jobseekers or council tax benefit? This might back up your claim as you have to be assessed to recieve these benefits.
Good luckI've used M.S.E to sort out my debts,my savings, my insurance, my LIFE.
Back on track now so much love to Mr Lewis!:money:0 -

Thanks BSL, I am not entitled to JSA or Income support as I was actually training to become a midwife and therefore had not worked for the previous 2 years!
Hope you get somewhere with your claim. x0 -

Come on guys, surely someone can offer some advice.
Forgot to say in OP that the claim was for just over £4000 before interest added.
Thanks.0 -
hi, ive wrote a letter to tsb , saying we are struggling to pay our loan back wiv tsb, fell behind with payments, so wot they did wiv us was cancelled the interest on our o/d , the money i used to pay for the o/d now goes to pay of £50 to pay back the o/d and £50 to pay back the loan, so they helped us out in one way but took it back in another, i wrote a letter to which i got a relpy back saying give them 4 weeks to look into our account as i said we are still struggling , am still waiting for there reply as its only been 2 weeks , i mentioned in my letter we also are behing with our morgage and council tax, so the only thing i can suggest is that u write to andover and see wot they say, sum pple say they getting letters back and they still not getting any kind of help from tsb but then u have to go to the fo see if they can can if tsb cant hope this helps u a bit jill0

I wouldn't hold out much hope of you getting a response from Lloyds TSB. I wrote to them setting out details of my financial hardship at the start of December and haven't heard anything yet. Whenever I chase I just get a standard letter saying "thank you for your complaint, we will get back to you as soon as possible" and they refuse to speak on the phone.
I would definitely write to them setting out details of your financial hardship but keep chasing them and be prepared to go to the FSO if you don't get a satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe.Wedding 5th September 20150 -
