My directory in XPpro shows a mydocuments folder for administrator and one for myname. Is there a way that I can use just the administrator folder and do away with the myname one. I am the only person who uses the PC and just want to keep things as simple as I can.

So long as your logged in AS admin, you should be able to goto CONTROL PANEL and 'USER ACCOUNTS' and delete the account:idea:0

I would leave it as it is - just incase your user account messes up or something then you can still get in on the admin account0

Don't delete it.
if you have problems later you can log on as administrator to solve them, if you delete it you can't
The same account is on xphome too but is hidden when you create a user account.
