city breaks

I am looking for help with ideas for a city break 7th May for 3 night for 2 adults. Annual get away for myself and my sister a few weeks after our birthdays. Went to Budapest last year and easily booked 3 star hotel and flights for £200 each but with the pound being so weak this year its a bit more difficult. Adding to the difficulty we live 150 miles away from each other with Luton being my sisters local airport but seems to be one of the most expensive to fly from.
Should I go for deals which are just above budget now or hang on for a few weeks. Still undecided where we are going but somewhere a bit warmer than the UK would be nice.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks

Which other airports could you fly from?
Can you leave on any other dates in May apart from the 7th?"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
Heathrow or Gatwick are an option as long as the cost of travelling to them doesnt cost more than the flight price savings.
The weekend of 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th is the only weekend we are free due to other commitments in May and after may people start thinking about going on summer holidays.

How about Barcelona? Ryanair, easyJet etc fly out there and you could try lastminute.com or hotels.com etc for accommodation.0

Depends where you are going. I went to Warsaw last summer and Krakow the other week: the pound is actually stronger against the Polish zloty than it was last summer (or it was the other week at least!)Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

Would recommend Krakow if you enjoyed Budapest. Have a look at this http://www.inyourpocket.com/poland/city/krakow.html and tripadvisor0

We've had a Krakow thread running for the last couple of days on this board as well, if that helps...
although it seems to have been deleted for some mysterious reason! Annoying as several of us had posted about very recent trips there with some good tips!Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0 -
Hi ali, I've just replied to your PM but for anyone else wondering, I've no idea why a thread may have been deleted - this is something only the forum team can help with. You therefore need to email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com to enquire. We've had a Krakow thread running for the last couple of days on this board as well, if that helps...
