I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to e-mail my husbands work certificates to an agency for a new position he is applying for and evertime e-mail it, i get a message back saying that delivery has failed  . They have to reach the woman by 12 o'clock today and i'm quickly running out of time and patience.
The file itself is 10,023KB and i tried compressing it, but it still wouldn't work. When i sent it after compression it was 9MB and it still came back undelivered.
I'm in the process of trying for a 3rd time, but i expect the same outcome.
Please help????
Thanks. Mandy.

It sounds like these "work certificates" are too big. Could you split them up and send them separately? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

How would i do that because they are all scanned onto one big file and i'm running out of time?
Sorry, not very technical minded when it comes to computers.
Thanks for ur reply.0 -

Split the file into two separate files e.g. the first half and the second half.
Or scan the certificates at a lower resolution into a new document. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
if you scanned them in yourself you should have "*.bmp" or "*.JPG" or "*.TIFF" files of each individual certificate that your scanner created before it made the PDF file. if you can find these (might be in your "pictures" folder). you can zip up each file indevidually and send then one at a time if they are very big!Laters

Thanks Sparky7
I went to Send Space and have managed to send the file and it was received at the other end with 2 minutes to spare!!! Fingers crossed that he gets the job now after all the hassles i've had to endure.0 -
When you say 'one big file' do you maybe mean 'one big folder? If so open the folder and split up the files to make smaller attachmentsNo free lunch, and no free laptop0
