Gmail problems? (merged)

I've been unable to access gmail via www.gmail.com but can sync via POP without any issues... anyone else having similar probs?

Its not only me then, can't get on the server at the moment, first notice it about 10 minutes ago when the notifier went grey (logged out).

I can only get as far as the login screen.

Explains why I got an error trying to send via SMTP in Thunderbird then.....

Was also effecting Sky Broadband email, since they use google's mail servers.
