Calor Gas Lpg

Hi
Not sure I've posted this in the right place...so sorry if its wrong.
We moved to the Country JUNE 2008 and have a gas tank which we have to get calor gas to fill whenit gets low. This is all completely new to us, since June 08 we have had to fill it up 3 times at the cost of approx £1200. We onlylive in a three bed house so would hav thought that would have been more than enough to at least last a year.
Does anyone know how these tanks work or any advice...the only thing I can think of is that we have a gas leak which is pretty dangerous, so getting a bit concerned.
Any advice would be greatly aprreciated.

the first thing to do, is to try smelling all over the tank.
second thing is to cover all joints/valves/connections/seams with a soap solution. bubbles will form if theres any leak.
after that you need a service engineer to look at it.
ask your neighbours what their usage is for the year. thatll give a bit of a clue.
i do know that bulk LPG is a very expensive way of heating cooking etc...compared to mains gas.
are you sure the tank is not rented? most are and they include the maintainance.Get some gorm.0
