Buying Someone out

Ok, my ex partner is going to be moving out of the house very shortly and i would like his name off the mortgage, how could i go about this. I have my sister who is willing to move in and take up the mortgage in both our names however she does have an IVA against her is this going to make it impossible? or is there a way around this, advice please and quickly

w.r.t. your sister, speak to your bank. they're the only ones who can answer your question.0 -
Your bank will need to answer this.
You need to have enough income yourself to pay the mortgage to have it solely in your name.0 -
Your sisters IVA will not help.
Your lender will not want to take one of the names off your mortgage, particularly if there is negative equity, as at present their are two people who are both liable to pay the mortgage................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0
