Is the woollies stuff Strong Pink or baby pink? I don't do baby pink, and I don't want to go chasing over there for baby pink ... didn't make it to TK Maxx last week either so it's probably all gone. Sigh.

    I wondered this too....

Saw a fabby huge big old fashioned alarm clock in pink today in John Lewis, you know the sort with the two bells on the top. Looked really heavy until I picked it up and found it wasn't metal but plastic.

Sadly it was too baby pink for me. icon11.gif

    £20 it was.

It's sadly baby pink although a few of the bowls and mugs are what I would call striking pink.

I was in Au Naturale yesterday when I saw Pink* Washing Up bowls and drainers for a couple of pounds each. They also had bright orange, lime green and a bright turquoise colour.

There were also worktop sized bins, mixing bowls and colanders for reasonable prices i.e nothing over about £2.

Have a look on their website and maybe there is a store near to you, it's not bad at all.

    Hopes it helps someone

*The pink was a muted bright pink, if that makes any sense - not baby pink

Huh! They won't let me in because I don't have the latest version of Flash, and I can't instal it on this machine! Stupid people, they're losing customers! :rotfl:

It's been a long while since I went home via the shops (because they're knocking them all down and rebuilding them plus moving the roads around so it's horrid!) but today I went to TK Maxx. Couldn't see any pink kitchen stuff left, BUT ...

    I found ...

    not one ...

but TWO pairs of PINK SHOES which fitted me! :rotfl:

I know, it's very off topic, but I just had to tell you, because I know you'll all be a lot more thrilled than DH and the boys were, and not only that, but I didn't hesitate to buy both pairs, because one is a sturdy pair of velcro fastening trainers, and I was beginning to panic about what I would do when my cheap pair from Next fell apart because I've worn them so much, and the other are 'best' shoes or 'shoes I could wear with a dress', which is excellent because I've been invited to a wedding in August and I don't really like my current 'best' pair which are very boring! (ie NOT PINK!)

Anyway, back ON topic, Woollies did still have pink washing up bowls, dustpans and brushes, buckets and washing up brushes, all reduced. I was very good (it did help that the pink was a bit pale for my tastes) and did NOT buy a new dustpan and brush or washing up bowl (because that was a bit small anyway), but I did get a bucket as I needed a new one, and some washing up brushes because they'll always come in useful. I have to say that the men did not seem to be as impressed by my restraint as they should have been!
