Got Tiny PC. Tried to re-install Windows. PC crashed. Didn't know about Reload CD. Formatted HD with WipeDrive, Partition Manager, FDisk etc. Tried numerous versions of Windows - all with same result. PC will copy the start up. Will begin configerartion but will freeze on the Start up logo on Windows XP. Tried Googling answer but must have tried every solution.
Any more ideas????

If I had 8 hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend 6 hours sharpening my axe

My PC crashes at the first stage after it has copied the files and goes into config. Yes, I take out the floppies, cd's etc when asked to. Formatted to NTFS.If I had 8 hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend 6 hours sharpening my axe0

We were just waiting for you to get back impucunious ......
Have you partitioned the whole disk and deleted all old partitions (OP sounds like you have ) Using the XP installation options ?
Are you using the original copy of ur XP windows CD ?Rich people save then spend.

Well I am off to bed - would say it seems to be a corrupt file in your source files - this has happened to me but on a W2K server - Needed an original W2K CD - Can you try using another XP install disk - wipe the partitions in the first part of the installation.
Do you need to load a driver for ur HD such as a sata disk - have you an updated driver if needed ?
Was there a problem that caused you to re-install windows ?Rich people save then spend.
