Stairway to Heaven Memorial Trust - Bethnal Green Tube Disaster

Options
On the 3rd March 1943, at the southern entrance to Bethnal Green Tube Station, 173 people died. Most were women and children. This was the largest loss of civilian life in the Second World War. As the 66th anniversary of this disaster approaches, the Stairway to Heaven Memorial Trust is continuing its efforts to raise funds to provide a fitting memorial to those that lost their lives on that day.

I have a personal connection to this appeal as my mum is believed to be the youngest survivor of the tragedy - she was just 6 months old when it happened and her own mum sadly died in the disaster.

I'd like to help 'do my bit' for the appeal by at the very least generating awareness of the Trust. Any donations people are able to make will be incredibly appreciated, particularly in current times. Thank you.
