Hi,
I was after some advice really we have just ordered a new kitchen and need all new appliances (all integrated too)
Full size Dishwasher
Washing Machine
Dryer
50/50 larder fridge freezer
Microwave
2 Electric Ovens (or one electric one gas)
5 hob gas burner
Coffee Maker/Steam Oven (just one other appliance to match up with the microwave size on top of cookers)
Cooker and Hob need to be same brand and all appliances that are on show stainless steel.
Does anyone have any brand recommendations or any to avoid at all? We've always had freestanding appliances in the past and am quickly learning that integrated is going to cost more!
Many Thanks to anyone that can offer any advice

asking for recommendations for d/washers n washing m/c brands can often throw up more questions than answers! as these are the ones that will most likely breakdown, and so many people hav had bad experiances even with 'quality' brands.
i recently bought intergrated appliances, with d/washer we walked around curry's etc and got a feel for the quality as best you can, things like materials, racks/runners. listed features we required, discounted anything that wasn't 'a' rated, then did price comparisons on the web and then made an educated guess!!
we plumped for a seimens.
i think with fridgefreezers reliability is less of an issue, less moving parts to go wrong. we chose roughly the cheapest 'aa' (i think) rated.
hotpoint
oven is on show, so wanted something with a well regarded name that looked the business, but affordable. and again energy efficiency was important
went for neff.
hob was always going to be gas on glass which narrows the search a lot. went purely on aesthetics, AEG.
chose a belling hood, purely on style.
only been 8 months but very happy with all of them, all installed well, only fault has been lamp blown in the fridge:rolleyes:.
bought most from appliances online, best price and good service with courtesy calls before each delivery.
hope this helpsPlease note, we've had to remove your signature because it was sh*te!0 -
You will find integrated dryers are absolutely extortionate in price in comparison to normal dryers, no so bad with integrated washers as there more manufactures making them. In the end we managed to squeeze in a non-integrated dryer, was able to fix the door to the adjoining cabinet although the space for the dryer is a bit more than your standard 600mm cabinet width. I ended up cutting and attaching a piece of plinth to the door to fill the width, sounds dodgy but you would never know.
Try comet auctions for appliances, we got a gloss black Samsung fridge from there for £700, RRP was £1200 at the time, it had a few small dent on both sides which are hidden when in position, managed to get a extra £100 knocked off as there was more damage than described on their web site.
You could go for washer dryer in a single unit but my Dad told me not touch them with barge pole, always listen to Dad0 -
The articles and forum on ukwhitegoods.co.uk may be able to help you.
I have just bought a Neff single electric oven and hob from appliancesdirect - I wasn't going to go for Neff specifically but they were such a good price I thought I would be silly not to buy them.0
