Hello Martin (or anyone of your team!)
I wanted to dripfeed a lump sum from a Citi Bank Flexible Saver Issue 4 account (online) into the Barclays 6.00% Monthly Saver account. However, when I called Citi to see if they allowed this they said I could only withdraw money into a sterling current account with a chequebook (which I think the Barclays don't offer).
(Lightbulb moment!)
Now, it's occurred to me that perhaps I could still deposit a lump sum into the Citi account and set up a standing order into one of my current accounts, and then the following day have a standing order for that cash into the Barclays saving account.
Can you help me on this one please?
Kind regards,
Cashbuilder

My name isn't Martin and I don;t know much about Barclays but my guess is this.
1. Does the Barclays account have a sort code & account number? If so it is just as good as a cheque book account.
2. Does the Barclays allow you to deposit money by debit card and do you have one with Citi? (probably not)
If not you may be stuck with the idea of using an intermediate account, but remember the transit time involved.0
