Which CD'S & DVD can I use...

Installed in my machine is DVD+I-RW (ReadWrite) 16X

It will help if you can the make amd model of the drive but look at the Logo's on it.
If it has a RW ins a square ish box it supports DVD +R
If it has the Logo "DVD" over a disk witn RW below it it supports DVD-R
Take a look at this drive fascai from Amazon

The two logos on the left are Lightscribre which lets you burn images on a special disc without a label (don';t bother it's not worth it!), and Writemaster which is a samsung trademark.
The next logo is the DVD -R format, it says multi below it as it can probably do -R -RW and -ROM and Dual layer
Next is the DVD +R logo, the stylised RW in a box, again with comments below probably +R, +RW and Dual Layer
And last on the Right is the CD Recordable logo.0
