saving for a car

hi people i am currently saving for a car. i have been saving for bout 8 mnths but from christmas have recently stopped and cant get bck into the swing of it again. i serously hope to get back into the swing of it nxt thursday when i get paid. i still hve some money saved but just cant build up more any one got any tips. i have currently got bout £1100
HOW MY CURRENT SAVINGS ARE GOING.

credit union savings = £1,300 :T
bank savings = £300.30
£2 savers club= £2 :j
20p savers club=£7.60 :j

    If you haven't done so already set up a seperate bank account to use for you savings. Arrange for a direct debit to be set up so that a set sum of money is transferred from you main account to your savings account each month. Its worth setting the dd up to go out on the day you get paid, this way you won't miss the money being transferred. Then forget about the savings account for a while.
