Where to compare prices?

Options
Can someone please let me know where to compare prices for gas and electric. I am moving in to a new house soon, I was quoted £17.55 for the first 225 units per quarter and then £10.55 after that for electric and £7.35 for the first 670 units and then £3.20 after that.

If you don't know your usage, most comparison sites will do a rough calculation for you. Some are more detailed than others, but it is likely to be better than just taking the average (3300/22500) - although no guarantees!

I certainly hope for your sake that the figures you got quoted were in pence rather than pounds (EG. 17.55p per Kwh for the first 225 then 10.55p per Kwh) if not you can look forward to some massive bills!

(even utility warehouse dont charge that much ;))

National average of gas is 20500.

Energyhelpline has a usage estimator but make sure you use the detailed one rather than just selecting "medium" or "large" house
