Overlimit charge on credit card.

Due to a total balls-up on my part (I forgot I had a payment for a holiday to come out:o) I have gone over the limit on my Egg card. I have been charged a fee. Now that is entirely my own stupid fault and I am not complaining about it, neither do I intend to try to get it refunded. I made the mistake, I pay the price.
But I was surprised to be charged £16. I seemed to remember that when there was that investigation into credit card charges they were limited to charging no more than £12. Is that right, are they trying to creep the charges up again? If so it quite invalidates the entire point of that investigation and the conclusions reached.

Thanks to Nickmack
OFT simply said they wouldn't take action against them for fees of £16 and under.
It looks like they are simply playing the rules and been "individualist"0 -
