BH Finance-Can i claim back PPI

Options
On checking my loan with BH Finance ,it has PPI , i remember at the time the "sales person" said we had to have the PPI or no loan or pay something like 20+ %APR( we consildated a 4k loan / car purchase, (with BH) )
Can i claim the ppi ? or cancel or both ?

    Hi there

What year did you take this out?

It seems you have a case here and I would try to reclaim on this if you have not actually made a claim for example for unemployment/sickness etc.

They obviously did not make this clear to you and again made you think it was part of being accepted for the finance.

Check this link out here below:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

You will find some useful PPI information and reasons of mis selling, which may also occur to you, if that is the case add everything you can on your letter to support your case, there is also a letter template on the link, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.

If not successful first time round, another letter maybe required, or until you exhaust their complaint procedures, where they will let you know this in their final response with details on the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) if eligible to go to them in order for them to investigate.

Post by recorded delivery, and let us know how you get on, please just let us know if you need any further help, good luck.;)

    Taken out Feb2008.
The first loan with them ( which i am sure had ppi) was approx Sept 2006.
Have`nt made any claim, just going thru old paperwork and had been on MOS browsing and it jolted into checking.
The loan was for £7200, PPI (ouch) £3617
