Argos Ppi Coversafe Insurance

HAS ANYONE HAD ANY LUCK IN CLAIMING BACK THE PPI FROM ARGOS.

I SENT THE FIRST LETTER TEMPLATE AND THEY SENT ME A LETTER BACK WITH A COPY OF THE AGREEMENT I SIGNED. THE APPLICATION WAS MADE OVER THE PHONE BACK IN 2001 AND THE COVERSAFE INSURANCE WAS TICKED AND BECAUSE I SIGNED IT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THERE CAN DO.

I SENT BACK THE 2ND LETTER SAYING THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE BUT THEY MORE OR LESS SENT BACK THE SAME THING.

COULD ANYONE SUGGEST WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT. SHOULD I CONTACT THE OMBUDSMAN OR FORGET ABOUT IT.

Not sure if you checked out the success thread at all yet, but others there may have had success from these, if not post up on the success thread, where I'm sure someone will post up to give their opinion on these otherwise.

I wold write back to them until they give their final response, they should tell you when its the final one, and then details of the FOS leaflet with their conmplaint procedures.

Have they not mentioned the Financial ombudsman service yet?

If not then yes write back and tell them if they do not resolve your complaint you will take this matter further to be investigated.
