thanks reniannen for filling in the gaps. I should have known better than to submit my answers without double checking everything written. :mad:

This is all getting a bit out of hand now. I don't know all the ins and outs but I can't help feeling people are out there waiting to jump on this user to berate them for any perceived "crime".

shall we say, not the brightest of people. It seemed quite odd that she'd be able to do this crossword on a regular basis.

But Kate - you wouldn't like it if some copied work you had done and passed it off as their own, which is what has happened by not crediting the true source... and I don't believe for one minute the true author is aware this has been posted like this, or previously knew...

And although not knowing the ins and outs myself I can read between the lines :rolleyes:

Have to agree Muffy, I'm quite shocked too. It's why I haven't been posting a lot recently since Big Snap finished and all the nice people from the thread dispersed back into the crowds.

There is no nastiness here - simply pointing out that this is not the OP's work.

Several times previously we have had answers to other mag's etc taken from here and posted elsewhere - we don't like it happening to us, so why should we be seen to allow it to happen here??

To openly allow this to happen would be seen as a double standard by any other site.

I don't care if she gets her answers from other sites, reading tea leaves or if the Archangel Gabriel reveals them to her in a dream!

The fact is, if you enter competitions using answers and links given by other people, then you really have no chance in hell of claiming the moral high ground.

Unless of course you notify each and every competition provider that the answers that you have provided were not technically "yours" to begin with :rolleyes:
