    Well I did it! Easy peasy.

    DS is going to be lucky if he gets his car back now, it's lovely and I fully understand why he is so in love with it. I'm now trying to resist the urge to just take it out for the sake of it, however it does need fuel as that disappears at a scary rate and I'm not sure what sort, where it goes, etc so that might stop me.

    Doh! Of course rolling back down the hill isn't an issue because the car is moving forward once you take your foot off the brake. Silly me. All made sense once I got going.

    With regard to fuel,its true autos are a bit thirstier but you can drive them economically> just dont put your foot on the gas,let it change up on its own with minial gas pedal pressure,take your time,anticipate,plan.
