Economy 10 versus 7?

Hi,

In my current flat I'm on economy 10 with Eon and the water and cooker and heating are all electric (no gas in the property).

In my old flat I used to be on Economy 7.

Any ideas how i can work out if it would be better for me to change from Econ 10 to Econ 7 in this flat? and how much money it would save.

I don't tend to run the washing machine etc during the cheap hours as they don't have timers and I'm either at work or asleep during the cheap hours.

    Hi Zebedy,

In my experience it usually works out cheaper to have E7 rather than E10, however E10 may be better in some cases.

I can calculate this for you and let you know which is going to benefit you personally.

If you would like me to help, send me a private message with your property number and post code. I’ll let you know the results and if necessary arrange any changes with you.

Would Economy 18 not be even more suitable?
