Help! Being called from a company called "LINK"??

Hi there, I wondered if anyone else has been called by a company calling themselves "Link" - i think they could be debt collection agents but not sure. The said they had an important call for me but only once i had verified who i was. They would not divulge any further info about themselves and were very rude. They said they would call back when i would "co-operate" further.
They called on my work number and my mobile. I have stopped paying my credit cards for about 6 months now.
Please can anyone help me know who they are?????

I am paying off LINk for a credit card debt, they are a DCA. Cant remember if its Barclaycard, MBNA or Egg. Those ring a bell with you?

They are a debt administration/collection company - in fact one of their subsidiaries, Thesis Servicing, administers a certain proportion of old Student Loans which were sold on a few years ago.

Dare I ask why you stopped paying off your credit cards?

Thanks for such speedy replies - most appreciated, just scared me a little as they are a newbee to me and not one i have been dealing with before. Stopped paying the cards as couldn't keep up and going for full and final settlements if i can.
