Disneyland Paris 40% off

Looks like bookings are down at Disneyland Paris. They are now offering 40% off selected hotels between 3 April and 30 September if booked before 15 April.

I know that two of the hotels are The Disneyland Hotel and Newport Bay, haven't looked at the others.

I thought I'd send the grandchildren for Easter and the cheap hotel showed as £88 per night before the 40% discount plus kids stay and play free.

After I'd put in 2 adults and 2 children for 2 nights it arrived at a total of £524 without transport and with free kids.

Disney's not worth £262 per day.

Try http://tothemagic.leger.co.uk/ I have used this company in the past and it worked out cheaper than Disney

They say they will beat any price

"We will not be beaten on price!
If you find exactly the same holiday cheaper online with any other tour operator within 7 days of making your booking online with Leger Holidays, we promise to refund the difference.**
You can book online, or call our friendly team on getTel();0800 018 98 98. "

Selected Hotels only. Try Newport Bay or Sequioa Lodge. Had a quick look, 2 nights and 3 days access to the parks for 2 adults and 2 children comes to £462.60 for Sequioa Lodge and £499.80 at Newport Bay. This is for staying from friday 10 April.
  • I have been looking at prices for a weekend for over 6 months now.
Ive been looking at the cheaper hotels up till now, we can go any time of year, its no big deal for us.
Prices seem to work out about the same, its just over £1000 for 2 adults and an infant including easy jet flights from glasgow and half board for 3 nights.
£1000 for us is quite a lot for a weekend, we would have to give up our main holiday for this.
    Im so undecided.....
  • 1000 for a weekend seems far too much. Try the holiday inn, it's very close (we've always booked direct), and don't go half board. (ah, they've renamed it now by the look of it - magic circus hotel now!). Tickets may be cheaper if you buy annual passes if you're looking at 4 days worth of tickets. I'm going from memory - we haven't been for over a year, but 1000 does seem too much.

In fact - a quick look-

    E.g. 6th June - 9th June

    Annual passes:
    http://www.dlp.info/Guide/Guest-Info/Annual-Passports/Annual-Passport-Comparison.asp
    E129 x3 = approx. 350GBP (some blackout dates)

    Easyjet flights 168GBP total(assuming infant <2 yrs?)

Radisson SAS Hotel booked via Eurostar (hotel only) 300GBP for a family room

=> about 818GBP, without shopping around on hotel, or trying less busy dates, or considering quidco - and you'd be able to go again for another weekend later in the year without having to buy more passes.

you need to play around with your dates and hotels to find the 40% off. It will say 40% off in the description if it doesn't then try another day.
  • This is far cheaper (£300) less than I have booked for for August this year. I have emailed them to ask if they will reduce my booking charge. Alternatively they charge 10% cancellation charge so could rebook at lower rates.

Anyone got them to reduce their charge before?
  • The 1st weekend in june we are going to haven and the 2nd weekend we have a wedding 3rd is a holiday weekend then the last weekend is the 1st weekend of the scottish school holidays so flights are expensive, the weekends I was looking at were august towards the end, about £700 half board with the discount and £300 for flights (infant is under 2).
Would actually suit better to go in September, do you think they will have a new offer closer to the time?
  • we stayed at an affliate hotel in November, Hotel Elysee Val d'europe, free buses go there all day and night, its very quiet, right next to a huge shopping centre and designer "freeport style" shopping village. I can highly recommend it!

just did an example booking. 3 nights 1st june, 2 adults, 2 kids under 7, £289.20 including room, breakfast and 4 days passes into the park. just need to get there.
You're so very special, I wish I was special
