Best digital camera for under £50

Hello just wondering what kind of camera I can get for under 50, I have seen these on argos but i dont really which one is best as i know nothing about technology.

Personally, i'd go for the Canon..

The canon has a bit more 'reach' (greater zoom) and a larger aperture range (better for landscape photos)

I'd also go with the Canon - their cameras are generally very easy to use and for a basic point and shoot under £50, that model is perfectly good enough

thank you, I too like the canon but i was a bit worried as it only has 7.2 mp is that low? I want good picture, I know i cant have it all for under 50, just wondering?

7.2 is not low at all. The push for more pixles is a marketing con to make you want a new camera.

I have an old 5mp Canon Ixus and it takes great photos that print nicely.

I've echo everyone and go for the Canon, and 7Mp is absolutely fine, I've a backup DSLR with 8Mp that has been used in professional work!

I'm pretty sure Argos is the cheapest price. This is probably the cheapest decent (new) camera at that price point
