  • Let your toast get cold in the toaster, that'll keep it dry and crisp 'til you get to work, then lay it on the radiator to warm through:confused:
Or wrap it in a tea towel, then attach the tt with the toast around a hot water bottle with another tt ??
Or, put it in a food flask??

How long are you hoping to keep the toast warm for?

i love cold toast aswell. it has to be well browned and crunchy though. its best to leave it in the toaster to cool... keeps it nice and crispy!

then i have really think spread on it... no good for my veins but who cares!!

    Thanks for all your replies!

I prefer to have my breajfast at work because mornings are hectic here, so if I wait til I get to work, I can eat my toast & drink my tea in peace, whilst I catch up on my emails.

I could change what I have for breakfast, but I just love (warm) toast!

I will try the car heater option today! I'm only in the car for a short time

Well. . . . it's 5 years or so since this thread. . .has anyone any better ideas.? I do a 'toastie' for my OH to eat later in work. I use tinfoil then kitchen towel and finish with clingfilm. All the moisture comes out of the toast onto the tinfoil then seeps back in making it soggy. I tried to alternate all the wrappings but nothing improves it. Can you get those polystyrene food boxes and will they help. Surely a 'Dragons Den' opportunity here??
