Vista bugging me!!!

Hi,

I have recently treated myself to a Samsung R710 running Vista, now......

I have a memory stick which I was using to install utilities, and was intending to use

to transfer files, but after installing Avast, DriverMax, and then updating various

drivers, it will not work on Vista laptop, though still works on PC running XP.

I have all Windows updates installed.

Any ideas?

Next question, not sure if I really like Vista, I have genuine XP disc, which is

installed on my PC, can I install it on laptop also?
