Lastminute credit card...

Options
... way back when (October?) I applied for and got a Lastminute CCard (following MSE recommendtion for the £20 freebie).

Card duly arrived; I spent on it... still waiting for my £20... T&C state that you should get it "within 60 days"

Has anyone managed to get this? I can see no mention of this (or any mention of CCard etc) in the LM web site and can't see any simple way to contact them about it...

More (added a few minutes after the above post)... found a number for Virgin who run the CCard for LM... lady there said she had never heard of the deal (but is going away to check and will get back to me within 5 days)...

    P.S. However, I see £20 lastminute.com voucher , not £20 ...
  • Hello

I also applied for and got a lastminute.com credit card following the MSE recommendation for the £20 lastminute.com voucher. I spent on the card straight away but still hadn't received the voucher after 60+ days.

I sent a letter to MBNA querying it and I received a reply asking me to phone them. When I rang they gave me a number for the Virgin Members shop and said I needed to ring them. The person I spoke to there had never heard of the offer(!) but said she would look into it and get back to me within a few days. She called me back the next day to tell me that a £20 lastminute.com voucher code had been sent to me that day in the post which I have now received and used.

So don't give up and you will manage to get it!

    Hope this helps.
  • These people are useless!

I actually spoke to someone on 20th Feb who said she'd sort it for me - nine days on and still nothing!

The voucher isn't important - it's the principle... these poeple brass me off (polite version)... if they can't deliver on these offers they shouldn't make them!
  • Having heard nothing in over two weeks (after I rang them and a lady said she would "sort it out") I have been told this morning that I "am not eligible for this offer"

I am fuming!

They didn't even do me the courtesy of contacting me to tell me! She tells me this morning that she will have somebody write to me and explain why I am not eligible.

Unfortunately, I've trawled through all the communications I received and can't find anything that specifically refers to the offer (i.e. as evidence that I qualify). It's become a matter of priniple now rather than anything to do with £20!

Can anyone advise what communications I can use as "evidence"?

    Tx
