Okay, Okay, I'm behind and we're only on day two - but guess what! I'm going to catch up! you heard it here.

Have just had a peek at the Weds list - hmmm, 100 things to declutter? Does emptying the recycling bin count as 80? Not sure if I'm going to make that but will give it a good shot, in the spirit of things!

Thanks for letting me post away with my little accomplishments!:hello:

pigpen - please tell me you just mean the bathroom and study windows and doors and not the whole house!

OF course on the rooms specified.. but if you want you can do them all..

bathroom, loo and study is 3 rooms in here so plural window and doors

Toots - I'm a bit worried about DS who is having some medical tests atm and I'm finding the decorating and stuff stressful. But mostly I'm just a miserable cow.

I put some shelves back up this afternoon - split the wood on the bracket a little bit but don't worry, I found the No Nails ;)

I take Omega 3 and glucosamine. Supposed to be for head heart and joints I think. My joints don't hurt, I don't know about my heart but I'm still stupid......though I suppose I could be even more stupid if I stopped taking them. I get a bad back/leg which I call sciatica but it's not in my joints.
ah well there you see PollyI have to disagree with you because a 'miserable cow' wouldnt be wishing people happy birthday or using smilies or poking fun at themselves!!!!
I can imagine your Ds is giving you loads of concern which wont be helping your mood - that is quite understandable - please dont be so hard on yourself - I dont think you would be here if you werent a nice person - we all have good days and bad days and sometimes things just throw us a wobbly and we get ratty and snappy and horrible and unhappy - I know I do!!
take care and hope tomorrow is a better one for you.

ok you lot have distracted me again - must make a coffee!!
    toots xx

ETA I seem to remember someone asking what a 'toilet hat' was and I forgot to post - its a toilet seat cover!!!!
    Peace will be mine

  • I read on another site that Lent doesnt start until the first sunday after ash wednesday - can someone tell me if thats right?toots xx

Starts tomorrow for most (although there are different ways of doing it!). Anglican churches start on Ash Wednesday and end on Easter Saturday with the Sundays in between not counted in the 40 days! Hope that makes sense! If not try google ;) :rotfl:

Really off to bed now - fingers crossed I get to sleep!

  • I had an energy surge at 10:00 - DH actually complained and said why do you always come alive at 10?? :rotfl:
Anyway, as a result of the damp patch in the corner, this morning I picked up everything in the corner of the bedroom end and put it on the bed.
I decided that I needed to put the clothes away tonight as we have flat inspection tmrw and I don't want piles of clothes all over the place, and looking at the clothes I realised that it is all my winter tops/trousers and I can't get them in the cupboard as that is full of my summer stuff.
So had to empty cupboard. In order to do taht I got DH to lift the suitcase up on to the bed. Opened suitcase and found it half full of clothes (that's fine, that's why we have it in the flat) and half full of papers (bills, important things) which should be kept elsewhere or shredded. So I had to empty all the papers out into a bag to be dealt with another day.
So now I have a full suitcase, a couple of bags of papers to sort out, a neat and tidy cupboard with neatly folded winter clothes, and a tidyish corner (need to shred the shredding pile as is enormous). Not bad for half an hour!:rotfl:

Oh and I put dry washing away and put away four of DH's jumpers which were strewn about hte place
