  • thats excellent natty - far better to be safe than sorry! please keep us posted!
wilf - good to see you back again - so now you can get your DD's old room sorted out that will help -dont let it just become a dumping ground - you need the space!!!!! you are probably suffering from the after effects of helping DD get sorted out and decorating her place - start with sorting out the stuff on the floor and declutter it or find homes for it.
egon hope ds3 is ok when he has calmed down - must be having a bad monday - a bit like the rest of us!LOL

ok have rung the Dr's but unfortunately it's only emergencies this afternoon. Anyway the Dr is going to ring me back later this afternoon to discuss the symptoms and then decide if I need to go in to be seen. The receptionist said it sounded urgent so they didn't mind taking my details..they are good like that at the Drs thankfully.

Just rung hubby and told him and he said it sounds like the same thing I had all those years ago when I was first diagnosed, or it could be a trapped nerve. The only thing I is I have to drive to the Dr's as there is no one that can take me, thankfully the car is easy to drive and I don't have to make an effort to change gears or anything..and I am right handed and the numbness is in the left arm/hand.

Thank you for caring, will update as soon as I hear from the Drs..but in the meantime I am going to have a shower/get dressed and have something to eat. I'm not ill so I can still do some things on my list which I will do while waiting for the appointment. :)

Glad you're getting it checked out. Let us know how you go on.

Nicki do you need to alter the height or position of your chair and / or move the keyboard so it is closer / further away from you.

Funnily enough... :rotfl: My chair is up higher than it was (proper office chair that goes up and down :rotfl: ) , the monitor is now on top of some box files to raise it up a bit and I've managed to take the right arm rest off the computer chair (they're right in line with my elbow so I'm either squashed and look like I should be doing Irish dancing or my elbows are resting on them lifts my shoulders and then my shoulders/back/neck starts aching. It was never a problem until January  ) already it feels much better, now if I could just get the brute strength together to get the left hand one off I could probably work alot better. The screws are currently soaking in WD40... if it isn't off by 6pm I might ring my dad and ask if he can pop in on his way home and help me get the armrest off. Mind you now I also need to adjust the backrest and can't get that kn0b to turn either  How long do you think it will be before I fall off the chair having forgotten about there not being an armrest there anymore? ;):rotfl::rotfl:

    Right, unit 1....

Really pleased you have rung Natty, and I sincerely hope it is nothing serious. Much better to get it checked out now ;)

Right I have done just about BA to day apart from feeding the WM and TD! Been too busy surfing and buying a replacement monitor. Still got Miss A's on here, about time I sorted it out and gave it back. Replacement should be delivered this week, hope it comes before Thurs.

Just about school run time here.

Most of the washing is dry and put away, just a pair of jeans finishing off.

Carpet man has measured up and it's being fitted next Monday. The blind is due to be ready some time next week too. At least when the carpet is in we can get the bookcases back in and empty most of the boxes in the little bedroom before DS comes home for a few days next week.

Hope your plate is in now Crafty :)
  • nice to hear it is all coming together polly.
