Toots - I'm starting small and easy and knitting a scarf. I'm basing it on this curly wurly pattern here

I got some Paton's Lulu wool when shopping today. It's an 'eyelash' wool in white, grey and black.

We lost a hamster once, he made a nice little burrow underneath the stereo unit (they like dark places) and picked a huge hole in the carpet eeekkk

We lost another one once, he got into the space between the kitchen ceiling and the bathroom floor, we could hear him in the kitchen so OH chiseled a hole in the kitchen ceiling and held a bowl of food out and out popped hammy!

I do not have a good record with hamsters!!!

Been to see mum and she was fine. Enjoyed having her hands and nails done.

Went to see DD and took some fruit for her as she is not well again.

Have done my shopping then hoovered and dusted living room.

Caught up on a programme I had recorded during the week.

Lady_L Big hugs and positve vibes coming your way.

embb look for buttons near food - my neighbours told me (when I was trying to catch the gerbil that had got into their garden) that they found their hamster in a box of cereal! Leave the cage open too - you never know!

Bought a pair of 'natural' coloured curtains half price for DS's room - hoping I had remembered the size (I had - 60" x 54" drop) so have just put them up..that's his room finished now...painted it in the summer! I have been looking for curtains since then! (£19.99 and lined so a real bargain)

ETA scrap that! Glad you found her - was right about the food though!

    6. Years ago when I was VERY little . . . my mum didn't realise that hamsters hibernate !!

She put mine in the dustbin - thinking it was dead - thenput warm ashes on top of it - then found it scurrying around trying to escape !!
      Love my mum really ...
