Me and OH have been renting fron his parents he is earning just over minimum wage and i am losing my job on 9th march as my contract isnt being renewed. What housing benefits are we entitled to?

Why????
If they are renting a property legally; why should it change if your landlord is a relative or friend
where ever you live there is a "set" rent amount dependant on how many people, children/ages you are; i.e you are a couple living in a one bedroom average flat; then the DWP should pay all your rent and if you are lucky you'll get a £ or £2 left over; if you are living in an upmarket top of the range 3 bed-penthouse and you are single; you will get the 1 person rent allowance for your area and have to pay the rest0
