New fridge Freezer

This morning I found my fridge freezer had decided to take the night off.
I changed the fuse and twiddled it's knobs and it came back to life.
Unfortunately it seems the fuse was only the warning of some other major disorder and it has again flat lined.

Something appears to have melted so I am now in the market for a new Fridge Freezer.
Any body got any hot or cool tips ?

A good one on offer would be nice ..The old fridge was just a standard fridge freezer who's only bell and whistle was it did not need defrosting.
I like these fridges that make ice and water and my match betting success probably means my budget may be a bit higher than the usual rock bottom.

So any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I bought this one about 8 months ago and it does the job! I saw it instore in Curry's but it was £80 cheaper online with Dixons. Was delivered from Currys warehouse though!

    Cheaper and free delivery.
As a bloke who only likes one thing more than cheap ..And that is free ..this one ticks lots of boxes :)
Luckily we have a Dixons next to our sainsburys in the retail park ..So i could do some comparison shopping.

It's cheaper on line with Sainsburys but they charge you £20 delivery so you could have some bargaining power.

Good luck, I hate looking for household goods as it bores me stupid. I'm in the middle of doing bathroom and while a suite is no problem the blooming tiles are killing me as I need to see it on wall/floor to know whether I like it. I have no imagination of holding one tile by another!

  • Isn't the fridge part too small? Is it just me?

This is as far as my shopping for white goods is going to go....Hopefully

I got my tiles off Ebay ..They had a picture of a finished bathroom ..I then just copied that :D
It was sold as a batch of 20 square meters for about £150 including delivery ..Poor bloke wasn't to happy taking all the boxes to the third floor but hey it was his offer :)

It would seem bigger if that bottle rack was removable .I would think it is

It's deceptive because you have two drawers and one drawer is full depth so great for hiding away food that I don't want to eat everytime I open fridge door!

The door is also double depth so I can get my 4 pintas of milk in the back row and have sauces etc. in front row.

I can also fit my wine in easily which is important to me :D

The main bit that sold it for me was though the colour and finish. I don't like shiny SS as it needs too much maintenance to keep it shiny and I don't like scratchy SS as it goes through me.

The ice thing is also good. It's part of the drawer fronts in the freezer so you fill with water and it becomes ice.

Also has holiday mode. When you go away you switch it to this low energy mode as the door is not being opened numerous times a day.

  • My fridge is 1.78cm tall. I have a separate under mounted freezer.
    I guess it's just me :o
