Xl Holidays

Hi, this is the first time to use the site. I was wondering if anyone who had booked a holiday with Travel City Direct, (XL airways)before they went into administration last September. Have you managed to get your money back. Atol are refusing to refund my money, saying that I have to claim it from my credit card, which I only paid the desposit on. The CC are refusing, to pay stating to get in touch with ATOL. In my opinion, ATOL should refund me, regardless of how I paid, as the holiday was ATOL protected, and having read some info, all this points you in the direction, that if a firm goes 'bust' and it is ATOL protected, they will make the refund. I am getting very frustrated with it all. CAn anyone advise me if they have had any problems.:confused:
