Driving holiday in Europe?

Hello everybody.

I have been toying for many years with the idea of going travelling round Europe in the summer holidays... We do have the time this year but it depends on how much it will all cost as to if we will go this year or save it until next year.

Does anybody know of a website that has travel itineraries listed, so I cna get some ideas of where to visit and times sclaes between places?

With the euro being so strong at the moment this is going to cost you a fair bit more & don't forget that you will probably incur toll charges en-route. www.expedia.co.uk is quite good for planning stuff - go to the travel information section (very good for driving maps). Alternatively, google 'european travel guide' and lots of sites come up which may help you.

Just don't go in August, whole place shuts down, and hotels are at a premium.
