Asda 4-pack opaque tights are rubbish

Why? because they're not opaque - you can see through them.

Okay, if I'd read the small print... '30 denier appearance'.

Do they know the phrase 'contradiction in terms'? Either something's opaque, i.e. you can't see through it, or it's not.

So they charge opaque prices (okay, still cheap, but I didn't get what I thought I was paying for) and sell you regular thinner than tinfoil easily ladderable tights. BTW you can get proper opaques from Primark for the same price.

Too cheap to bother. Intended as useful info for anyone buying opaques, not an 'I know my rights and I want my money back!' rant.

Yep, I prefer opaque darker looking tights myself. Its a woman confidence thing :p
  • Depending how much they are stretched or pulled up 30 denier wouldn't really give a very opaque finish. You can either fork out for the pricey opaque/velvet looking ones, or just wear more than one pair to give a more opaque look........you have 4 pairs anyway.

Absolutely. Especially in the winter. You don't need to shave your legs as often!
