Help please, I have a Halifax investment Isa which has lost 25% of its value. I have less money than I invested! What should I do? Leave it and hoe for the best or transfer it. I also have a personal investment plan with them medium risk. As yet don't know how much I've lost. Do I ride it out? Any advise graatefully received.

That happens when you invest.
Halifax investments are rubbish. However, better alternatives wouldn't have prevent you seeing a short term loss like you have. It may have been less and you may have been risk profiled better but you would have still seen a loss.
Investments zig zag. They go up and down. Always have, always will. You have a medium risk investment. That means you are prepared to accept losses of upto around 40% of its value. Well, you lost 25% and you are worrying. So, it appears you are investing above your risk profile.
Correcting your investments to suit your risk profile can be done easily. Either by yourself or using an IFA. You should never use a bank adviser as their products are not good enough. You need to decide if you are able to do this yourself or if its best to get an IFA to look at it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
